Lost wax casting, also known as investment casting, is an advanced technology widely used in the marine parts manufacturing industry. This process begins with creating a wax pattern that is identical in shape to the final product. The wax pattern is then coated with a ceramic shell, forming a heat-resistant mold. When this mold is heated, the wax melts, leaving a cavity that is exactly the same shape as the original wax pattern.
