Lost wax casting, also known by various names such as thin-shell mold casting, investment casting, thin-shell casting, wax casting, or wax casting, is the most advanced stainless steel process today. The investment casting process is divided into 5 main stages:

4. Separation, Assembly and Finishing of Parts

5. TESTING

Inspection: After the steps have been performed, the parts need to be inspected for surface and subsurface defects. Visual and fluorescent penetrant testing is performed on the surfaces and X-rays are used to identify subsurface defects. Other tests are to evaluate the quality of the melt.
